How do I feel about my area? Right now – NOT 2 HAPPY! I love the music out here, its crazy. I think that we’d give any area a go as far as lyricism, song content and overall TALENT! As far as the FOOLERY – I cant stamp that! In the past 2 wks I have seen some of the most shady dealings ever and this is coming from a person that was in a group and was left out of a major deal negotiation! It sad. We holding meetings now? For what? Unity? What are we unifying? As any family – we all dont have to necessarily care for what the other person is doin as long as we dont openly show the negativity. For instance, I got caught up in some ish a few years back, my mom didnt condone it but she didnt go around tellin the world her son was a menace to society. Every1 will not be loved (FACT) as long as you keep that you arent the biggest fan of the next person to yourself, in my eyes your cool. 2ndly, I and my good friend/favorite artist Champ Parker in the recent weeks have seen how FUGAZI some of the artists in the area really are? Ive worked with artists in Philly, NY, ATL, Phoneix, Chicago, NJ and Various areas of NC just to name a few and when we say we gonna get work done – we get work done! Not all of the let me holla at my manager or saying one thing and doing anotha w/ a beat or verse! Maybe we need some classes to teach ppl how to be real and honest?

There are way Way WAy WAY 2 many cliques, groups/entourages in this area! When is okay for someone 2 email, call, txt me and say they love my music but not fool with me cuz someone that they hang with doesnt like me for whatever reason! I mean come on – quit with the kids stuff – i didnt know we were still in High School. Im tryna make music, that what I love to do. I will continue to make it w/ or w/o the fickle fans. Truth be told – I now have great animosity for certain ppl and maybe im wrong for feeling that way but I cant deal with the fakeness. So much so that I had to call Gee (Music Is Life Magazine) and told her that I didnt know if i could continue with the mag. Y? Its all goes FULL CIRCLE! I refuse to be fake, I refuse to repost music, shows or interviews of artists who blatently disrespect! Not gonna do it!

So, due to previous transgressions I didn’t know I could vote until late yesterday… So my vote was for President Elect, Mr. President Barack Obama but when I got to the polls I wrote in JESUS, I figured I’d vote for Jesus and God would sort out the rest… All I knew is that I wasnt voting for McCain… With that being said., I am happy that history was made last night but I think that while we enjoy the fact that he is now the 1st black president, I also feel that it is now time for him to make this much needed change that he promised us throughout his campaign. My girlfriend and I have argued this point over the past couple of months… I believe in Barack Obama because I think as he thinks – yes this country needs a change, yes we need to help out the middle class, yes we need to assist the lower income families with jobs and affordable housing. But, NEVER was it about him being black… I have 2 daughters and my vote is solely based on who will help and better this country and it doesnt matter to me if that person is black, white, yellow, or brown… People vote for whatever reason and thats fine but I dont understand people who vote for or against a person just because they are a certain color. We have shown by electing Obama as President that we have come soooooooooooooooo far as a country but at the same time we have shown that things still remain the same…

I pray that he has a good heart and that he does all that he promised… I am letting go and lettting God deal with it….

Congrats President Obama, you have not only open doors for African Americans but you have also open the eyes of our nation… Next up… my daughters as Prez… Holla at me!!!
